Uppercase love #uppercaselove
I wanted to share with you my latest illustration that is published in this month's Uppercase Magazine (issue number 26 in case you want to order it)! I was so excited when I found it on Page 8 with the letters to the editor! I submitted this watercolor piece inspired by a stamp that I would love to have back in April. It was an open call from the magazine. Janine posts the open calls here.
I would really love to see this as a stamp, wouldn't you?
I wanted to mention also how much I love Uppercase Magazine and think you should be a subscriber too. I have quite a collection of the magazine. I even had more, but when I moved some of mine got lost. I think I need to purchase the back issues that I lost. If you aren't familiar with the magazine, it is an inspiring magazine filled with inspirational people and articles. I love hearing artist's stories about their lives and their creations. Janine Vangool, the publisher, editor, and designer, creates a magical issue every time.
This latest issue had a wonderful treat to the subscribers...some vintage stamps pictured below. I have a collection of stamps over the years so I really appreciated these stamps. My favorite one is the New Zealand one. Which is your favorite?
