I love creating one of a kind cards. It has been a passion of mine for 15 years or more. Back when I owned a Bead Shop in Pagosa Springs, Colorado, I created cards with flowers hand drawn in prismacolors and added beads sewn onto them and sold these one of a kind cards in my shop. I wish I had some pictures of them, but this was before iPhones.
Today I still love creating cards.
I wanted to share with you a few process pictures and the finished project. For this card I sketched it out in pencil and then inked it with my favorite Micron Pen. Once that was done, I painted it with watercolors. And while the watercolors were still dry I added the glitter. It was a really fun project!
I love it in all three stages...which is your favorite? Pen and ink, with a little watercolors, or finished project?
Have a beautiful day, Kathryn
